Hi. Can you please tell me the model number of the one you purchased? I am on the AVS website and I cannot find that particular one. I dig it. Thank you

436127 Aeroskin II (matte or textured black)

bought it off amazon, link here:

still hasnt changed in price and I bought it june of last year (price on the main site is nearly 50 more)

would highly recommend you get help with it, definitely a 2 person job. did it by myself but nearly messed up. It will also take a few days to straighten it at home (comes a bit flexed at some of the tips in the box) either with books/weights or hairdryer. The 3m adhesive is very sticky, you will not be able to adjust once you press it down. I think mine is about half a mm low at the front, gonna have to lightly dremel as it hurts a bit to lift the hood.

I have the AVS as well, and it is a lot better than the Ford sourced piece. Combined with the hood decals the AVS is stunning combined together.

fiberglass is repairable. being that the truck is new the paint hasnt faded so a fix and repaint shouldnt be noticeable. hell i could repair it, but i cant paint........ building a fiberglass box right now actually haha. unfortunately i dont know of any body shops in denver. i used to live in the springs and when i hit an antelope with the exwifes car, i had maaco do the repairs. seemed ok.

Someone with a little skill should be able to lay fresh glass and sand it to match. The. All that is needed is a little feather/blending of the paint. It really shouldn't be that bad. Find the right shop it will stay off carfax and not hurt your value!
