If you get the cats with 200 cells per square inch, they will throw a CEL. The 400 CPSI cats do not.

SPD Adapters and Kooks Downpipes = CEL; Add O2 Extenders

Any down pipes sold in CA

Unfortunately, no. Under CARB rules, you cannot even swap out catalytic converters unless yours are proven defective. As in, CARB won’t even approve any “high flow cats” regardless of whether or not they can actually still do their job.

Technically that is a 50-state federal emissions law. Cats cannot be removed or replaced for 5yr/50k miles unless found to be defective.
