Hey guys,

I've been searching the boards for some time before I took the dive but have seen so many different claims and favorites of other members.

I'm installing a Intercooler, Downpipes, Turbo Outlets, and Intake on my 2018 Raptor. I've been recommended Gearhead tuning time and time again but want to see if there is a better alternative in comparison.

I'm looking for a SOLID 91 octane tune that will increase the power but not trying to get the highest HP number out there. Solid tune with some solid power gains that is also smooth and reliable. I tow pretty frequently so I want to make sure whichever direction I go in is best for what I'm looking for.

P.S. I saw that the COBB Accessport was released for the Raptor, but their Staged tunes are very bland. (I Have experience with their staged car tunes). Does anyone know of a reputable tuner who has created maps for the COBB yet?

Thanks for the input guys!

When it comes to tunes, everyone has their favorites and individual tune objectives. I have a gearhead tune on my G2 and love it. As far as your P.S. question, Mountune now offers maps and custom data logging tunes via the accessport and they have an awesome rep for reliable tunes.

Great to hear you love it! I'm going to do a bit more digging, but will likely go with GearHead.

Nice thing about these ecoboost motors is cold air kits and intercoolers you do not adjust anything in tune for. They adapt on there own. So if you start with just a tune you can add those without needing a revision in tune. Now we do not charge you if you do need a revision though. We have a touch screen device that does have ability to datalog our just view gauges. But our tune picks up 50hp and 80 ft/lbs to the ground. My name is Jake message me or call me at 313-561-5500 with any questions. Thanks everyone
