Looks like aux 5 is rated for 5amp. I have pair or leds which is 40w each. Soon as i turned it on i think it blew the fuse. Is this too much light for switch 5?

Rough math says they are pulling about 7 amps, so probably yes probably pulling too much for that switch. However, someone else that is better with electrics will chime in as well.

5 amps x 14 volts - 70 watts (but you should not go above 50% rating for normal draw)

stop being cheap. if you don't know how to to it, pay someone to do it correct. you need a relay. PERIOD. It is not that hard.
