2024 build date???

I am a sales manager at my dealership and have been checking VINview daily on my status.
My build date was 1/11 and it has been sitting in lot 59 ever since like all of you. Today I got the first update since January 27th. Ford changed the status from “Delay - Plant/Quality” to “Ford Target Release Date - 3/6”
Shipping is usually a 12-18 day process for Midwest dealers so we should start seeing them the last 10 days of March.

Is this normal for Ford or has this 2024 model year just been all screwed up?

Ford chat just updated my eta from 2/3 to a window of 3/22-3/28. Your information seems to be correct, unfortunately.

The ones that have been built starting December will ship out 2/26 and then in order after that. If yours is getting built next week don’t expect that to ship till the timeline below.

December builds ship week of 2/26
January 3 - 12 builds ship week of 3/4
January 15 - 26 ship week of 3/11

My order was confirmed 10/3/23 and received a VIN# with a schedule date for the week of 12/18/23
