Congrats to you - I hope the Raptor R works out. I'm going to wait for Ford to "hopefully" work out the bugs on the R before I order. I was Lucky(?) enough to have the first Crew Cab Raptor in 2010 and it was a learning experience. The drive shaft was not designed properly and I had immediate problems. Ford Factory Racing sent engineers down right away and they figured out the problem and issued a recall/repair but I was without my Raptor for 6 weeks (they did give me a truck to drive). It ended up being a great truck but Ford does have a tendency to "fire, ready, aim" with new models. I sure hope they don't have any issues with the "R".

Hey there, when you say “adm”, what is that? I’m sure everyone will laugh, but I’m not in the know on all the abbreviations. I’m assuming maybe over msrp price.

ADM = Aftermarket Dealer Markup.

I have turned down two offers at $10k ADM. One in Wi and one in MN, and both used the caveat that they wanted to build new customer bases. I don't think this starts a great new relationship. I am stubborn, but it's a principle for me at this point. Would I be willing to pay more than MSRP? Maybe a little, but this is out of hand, IMO. I will continue to try and find an allocation for MSRP. I have seen a lot of successful MSRP transactions posted that give me hope. I am stressed that I will miss the bus entirely due to my self-imposed constraints. Here is to hoping!

You look hard enough you can find a standard Raptor at MSRP, but I could almost guarantee for the Raptor R that no one will sell it at MSRP unless you are close friends with a owner or something.

If anyone finds a raptor R allocation for 20K markup lmk, I’ve been struggling to secure one
