Thank you. I figured after looking at a few videos you guys had posted. Ok well then time to source some parts! I see the latest is the stuff on Ebay from seller SimplyMichigan. Is that the best resource at this point without spending 1400-2000?
I got the whole kit from FLVPmods.com
You have to do a little work to understand what all you need. I'm very happy, easy install also

Yeah the only thing I am debating now is do I keep stock navigation as an option and pay more for the apim with nav or only rely on my phone and things like waze and car play.

I had the factory nav and android auto in my 19 ram 1500, never once used the factory nav and always used waze or google maps. For that reason alone I decided I didnt need to spend the extra money upgrading to sync 3

I sprung an extra 50 bucks for the Nav version (got lucky on eBay) and can confirm I’ve never used it once. I solely rely on Waze or Google Maps. The reason I went with Nav was only because I found one for not much more, and j wanted the option to be able to use it in places where there’s no cell signal (plenty of places out here in Texas or if I decide to take it to somewhere like Moab). That being said, there’s now ways to download offline maps to your phone via Google maps and other apps, which wasn’t available at the time. And factory Nav maps are rarely updated and don’t include stuff like traffic, so don’t expect to rely on it much except in emergencies.

Ended up pulling the trigger on a complete kit from Carlos Torres on the Facebook FRF page and couldn’t be happier. And with the latest sync 3 version and everything seems to be working properly. Definitely a huge upgrade from the sync 2 setup. Seat cooler/heater work without issue as does the gps. I was not able to get the front camera working but with the added speed and functionality I’ll take it.
Ditto- I bought from Carlos as well. His package is complete plug and play with apim and everything you need for $750 with full navigation. He programs it for your truck!
Highly recommend. Easy peasy.
Takes about 2 hours to remove and replace. How to videos are on YouTube. I also recommend Good plastic dash removal tools.

Why would you pay twice as much as what Carlos Torres would sell the same thing to you?
I am honestly curious!

Thought about 4dtech also as you get 30 day returns and 1 year warranty. Carlos offers a 30 day return also against defects but that's it. Depends what piece of mind is worth to you hah.
