So whats the consensus on this?

Kit can be had for under $800 through ebay or some guy named carlos on facebook (what if I don't have facebook?).

AC and HEATED seat functions work. Rear camera works. Steering wheel controls work. Front camera only works below 5 mph, and if rear camera delay is engaged.
Anyone have any major issues with battery draw or AC not working right? I read a couple posts about that

I'm happy with the Sync3 overall.

Outstanding issues I have with it are as follows:
* Heating up the cab/fan speed seems off at times, like truck doesnt know its cold and needs to turn up the heat. I can't prove this yet though.
* Occasionally the radio defaults to Off when I start the truck. Its random, and I can't pin it down. Could be a bug in the software version I'm on?

I programmed it myself, so its possible my coding/programming isn't perfect yet, and I need to consult with some of the pros who sell the kit to confirm.

Regardless of all this, I'd still do the upgrade again, its much better than the old sync 2 system. Slightly quicker, easier on the eyes, simpler to use.

Sweet! Now get you a cplay2air and you’ll have wireless CarPlay!
any chance you can let me have a copy of your apim programming? I get my nav to work, but the time wont update, change settings and then the nav works and the times does not.

I got a Sync 3 upgrade from a guy I found in one of the Facebook Raptor groups. 100% good to go and is a true plug and play. Totally satisfied with it and is good to go in my book.

Yup, I am one of his customers too. Anthony Callegari I think was his name. Really great dude with fantastic after sale customer service. He'll answer any questions you may have. Also, always great to deal with a US seller.
