Deaver/eibach combo ?

I just installed Eibachs and Deaver +3 HDs 2 weeks ago (purchased from Nick@Apollo-Optics), and just got back from a week and a half trip to Colorado mountains (1200 mile drive each way). Probably drove 150 miles of forest roads, and 50 miles of off-road trails while I was up there. The off-road trails for the most part were too rocky to do anything over 30 mph in some sections, but averaged like 10 mph (lot of 4 low with all the big rocks and steep grades). I was able get some decent speed on most of the forest roads, even the ones that hadn't been graded in a while.

With those springs, the ride is greatly improved. Almost all body roll is gone, and no axle wrap are the 2 most obvious differences to me. The ride is a little stiffer than stock, mainly the rear springs, but with a little weight in the bed, and the right PSI in the tires, it smooths out really nicely, almost as smooth as stock on the road/freeway.

With the stock springs, if I hit a large bump or rut, it was too squishy and would bottom out or tap the skid plate too easily in my opinion. The new springs certainly helped with that a whole lot. The extra ground clearance is really nice to have too, no new scratches on the skid plate since the swap.

What was the Price on the +3 HD and the Geisers? I only load up my bed once or twice a years to go camping with a rooftop tent and bed full of gear for a three days trip. Other then a few camping trips in the summer and ski trips in the winter I don't do any other off-roading. Should I still go with +3 HD and the front spring? How is the ride on road and freeways when the truck is empty? I am on the fence of replacing those parts. I don't want the truck to ride too hard for everyday drives.

The ride with the HDs is not good unloaded. If you only load up your bed the way you stated once or twice a year, you should get the regular Deavers. You can call and explain your setup and use and they will recommend the best one for you.

The ride is much stiffer which I like, however, my truck isn't level at all. I'm sitting at 41inches in the rear and 42 inches in the front. The truck appears slightly upright from certain angles. From what im hearing, I though that Eibach had adjusted their springs to make 2019 and up Raptors level with their kit.


My issue now is....is my live valve suspension affected in the front (in a negative manner) and do i require to swap out the rear springs to Deavers. The truck seems to be pulling to the right although i had my alignment done with Ford
