Camburg Stock Length Shackles

I am about to install Icon leaf springs and Camburg Stock Length Shackles. I noticed that Shackle upper arms point (they have little angle) to one direction. Depending how you turn them they point towards back or front of the truck. Which direction should they point towards?

But you know that they are going to hit with ICONs, right? They are designed for stock or Deavers. Personally I have them on my GEN1 with ICONs and yes they do hit at full droop but so far I haven’t had an issue but I do check them often when off-roading.

I will be using them on Gen2 and from reading here they work with Icons for Gen2

After you get them installed, fully droop the rear and lets see pictures. Interesting to see as their website doesn’t show that.

Icon are military wrapped so there is double leaf spring wrap around eye , pic show one leaf wrap i went camburg extended length with Icons they do not touch on Gen 1.

Double wrap eye goes towards the front on Gen2 and rear Camburg Shackle connect to the eye with thinner wrap

I believe thats how the Icon Leaf goes on Gen2. Eye lid with less wraps sits inside the shackle.

Sorry for wrong info I was talking Gen 1 , mine have 2 leafs go through shackle and part way up other side , stock length camburgs will hit. Your pic looks same 2 leafs ,one with eye and other leaf goes part way around eye

Will it hit with normal driving or just with hard offroading at full articulation? Also which end goes inside the shackles first pic or second?
