Hi All,

Just joined the forum and I'm considering purchasing a 2014 Raptor with 99k miles. I have the carfax and it appears that the vehicle has been well maintained. One thing that I wasn't sure about and wanted to asked is that at 48k miles the following items were replaced:

Pinion seals
Differential bearings
Lower Ball joints
Upper control arms
Front shock absorbers

Are these normal 50k maintenance items? Or is it a sign of something else that i should be concerned about?

Also, I've read that the shocks will need to be rebuilt or replaced at 100k miles. If so, what are the costs for parts? Is there anything else that will need to be fixed at this mileage marker?

-Thanks

Shock rebuild or replacement will cost 1000-1500 in parts, pretty easy DIY except the torque spec on the lower front shock bolt is quite high.

That looks like a front axle rebuild, I would consider it normal (though I think these are an 80k item). Its possible the PO took it in for a shock rebuild and decided to do it all while the mechanics were in there.
