You guys are much more talented than I.

After about 30 minutes of trying to push those little tabs with the best auto trim tool I could find, I gave up and took the path of tearing the center console apart. I’ve got ample inventory of Gorilla Tape so I figured breaking a few clips was better than tearing a hole in the leather boot.

3 beers later a much improved interior. God bless YouTube.

I fought Lucille for a good 30-40 minutes getting that damn shifter installed. I’m glad the youtube videos were there, but I’d have probably felt a little better about it if they were a little more honest about how difficult this swap is. It’s not technically hard, but it’s damn frustrating.
