Now this is just a rumor but it came from a first hand account from a friend of mine who saw some secret Raptor testing being conducted out in the Anza Borrego, CA desert about a month ago. He saw that these trucks had 4 bar rear suspensions with coil springs on them similar to what the new Dodges have. The bodies on the test trucks were the current 2019. He also heard that Ford will be offering 4 different suspension packages to choose from.

Cool to hear considering I heard from a reliable source that the Gen 3 will have a 4 link rear suspension, among other things.....

It’s about time to ditch the century old technology. I heard the new Tundra May be doing the same. Chevy, your the last full size dinasour!

I've gotta start in working a bunch of OT...sure do want a new V8 (if it comes out) and 4 link would be the bomb! Not giving up my Gen1 though....

I also heard the bump stops are a magnetic technology that as the compression reaches the bump stop the opposite force keeps it from slamming home and bending the frame...

That would be impressive, and conceivably low cost as well, without any pressure cylinders or moving parts....

- V8, magnetic bump stops, 4 bar rear suspension.....V8!

Guess I had better start saving just in case the rumors prove true.
