my dealer has 2 19s ordered but said carbon and recaro seats was not a option ?

Not together because if they read recaros seats come with CF. So only have to order interior package and get blue recaro and CF

Hi..I had a tour of the Rouge plant on Friday, 10.05.18 and there were still building 2018's....
I hope so, mine was (supposedly) built on 10/6 :)

I said my tracking was incorrect on Wed as my dealer had the truck, yet it was still awaiting shipment. This is what it looks like now. Basically my truck shipped and delivered the same day, which for me is possible. The site likely updates once a day so to say the tracking was not correct is not really fair I guess.

Mine still shows in production 10/6 (moved up a day) estimated shipping date 10/7, in-transit estimated at 27 days (!), and delivery estimated as 10/28 (moved back 4 days from original). Which of course means someone failed at math.

So I was just told by the sales Mang.that the computer says that I will be issued a Vin number next week. Does that mean the build will start? Does that possibly mean that a delivery sometime in November is possible? I’m sure I will have more information on Monday but was on the site and thought I would ask

That means your priority must have dropped to 01, so you will get a schedule week and a VIN next Thursday. My guess I’ve seen 11/19 so you will be week of 11/26 or into December. Then 2-4 weeks average for delivery after so I’d say mid December at the least

Just ask your salesman for your order number and dealer code. You can then contact Ford Performance and they'll tell you if you have a build week. Once you have a build week then you'll have a VIN.

Is that what’s on here or something different that the dealer would give me? The codes D2D028B1-8314-467B-B662-3D378688D782.jpeg that you’re talking about

I now have almost 300 miles on it. Sitting in the garage. About to head out, set preferences on the electronics, wash up the cab portion and ceramic coat, put on the tonneau and shorten the antenna (truly shorten, not put a new one on). I would coat the entire thing but not that ambitious today and it is going to be wet tomorrow when I go to work. Also need to wait for PPF to go on other parts of the truck.

Really happy for ya!

What you mean by "coating the entire thing"?

I was considering a trip within my 1st week to get a clear vinyl put on as protection, I've been reading about the apparent need of mudflaps on G2 raptors, but since there's not much mud and pretty much zero snow where I drive I'm not as sure that I need them. There's a fair amount of rain here but still semi-arid, and I do not intend to wash my truck more than a few times a year. My thought was maybe to put a 12-20 inch strip of vinyl below the belt-line, more to protect against brush stripes and trail-rash than any acid rain or industrial rust/cancer. My paintjob's biggest threat, to be honest, is sand and small rocks kicked up by traffic on the overcrowded highways that are perpetually under construction, but that is the price we pay to live in a hot/trendy/popular city

Then again, it is a truck, I've got a different ride I take to cars and coffee.
