Curious if this is torque converter related.

Why? You don’t even own a Raptor. Or, are you worried about the ban hammer coming down on you and posting up dozens of innocuous comments?

@Booth9999, would you be willing to provide details on what they fix, and any parts replaced?

I defiantly will, it's getting a new pan for sure what is the part number for original for comparison? I Am expecting it back next week per my advisor but said they would know more Monday/Tuesday.

Literally EVERY thread has this doucheweed MGD posting something idiotic and then others berating him. The quality of discussion on FRF was never good, now its downright ugly. In 15 years of being on various automotive forums, I have never seen a particular car/genre of car attract such poor quality owners, and a forum where moderators did so little to moderate.

It seems like most all forums now , you should read the crap on hellcat or CTS V forums, hell even ham radio forums.

OP hope you get your issue fixed

I’m with @xxaarraa here, we’re lucky we have the supporting vendors we do and let’s be honest - the more of us, the truck owners, think FRF is devolving into a $hitshow, the more vendors are going to dread coming here.

Think about this the next time you chuckle at something from a wannabe sasquatch77, mcnawsty, truckzor or any of the other previous troll accounts.

Everybody vents, launches a post or 2 they probably would have written differently in hindsight, but this place is worse IMO in tolerating, and frankly at least tacitly encouraging these accounts into trolling.

Shy of politics oriented forums, IMO there is a higher troll to user (TTU) ratio here than other genre of forums I visit. YMMV.

FYI guys forums compared to what they used to be are completely dead.

Facebook and other social media avenues cost specific car forums a lot of user base over the years. so yea we do have to put up with the troll or two on here, but its a drop in the bucket compared to the mass retardation on facebook.

and i love vender and guys that know what they are doing on these trucks, place just needs a little thicker skin but i love this place. favorite forum so far.

This... is a fair point. I don’t do bookface, with a minor organizational exception that I was roped into. I consider it the cyber “Mos Eisley”, a ‘wretched hive of scum and villainy’. It’s more than just a thicker skin though, there’s just a contingent of people trumpeting their mythical right to be offended by anything and everything, along with the symbiotic trolls, and we get a bunch of cr@p posts.

For what it's worth, I just had a similar issue last week. We left for a multiple week long trip (in the truck) and on the 2nd day, when we stopped for gas I saw my dog had a some pink colored fluid under his snout. Had it not been for that, I might not have thought much about the REALLY good sized puddle under the truck. I probably would have thought it was already there and at best, would have thought it was condensation from the AC. As soon as I saw that I knew immediately what it was and where the problem stemmed from........the week before, when I took it in for a routine oil change the service advisor at my dealership told me there were 3 recalls showing as needing to be done. One was for the rear seat-belt, the other was for something with the rear door(s) and lastly....a transmission roll-pin!!!!!.
Long story short, we went from that gas station to a small dealership outside Mojave, CA. Turns out that, sure enough, it was the trans-pan gasket. Ford in their ultimate wisdom (and in order to save a few pennies) has instructed dealerships to RE-USE the transmission pan gasket. Thanks to this and thanks to the part needing to be overnighted, we spent the night, in our Airstream, at the nearby truck/travel center. They replaced the gasket the next day and have had no problems since. I can't even begin to tell you what a fiasco this would have been if this were to have happened even a day later. Exactly 24 hours later we would have been in Death Valley on a trail out in the middle of nowhere, without cell service (see pic).

So....if any of you go for this recall, make SURE you tell them to replace and NOT re-use the gasket, even if you have to pay for it. (I think it was like $20).
