Modified my extra Bakflip cover so I can still run with it on when using my tire rack. Made a cardboard template, transferred it to the Bakflip and started cutting. Turned out pretty good, just need to install some rubber edging to finish it off.

Dude, finally a mod!!! Can't wait to see the pics......

Finally a bigger and more expensive mod instead of the low cost and small ones. Lol.

Looks real good @scarrjack. That was a great idea.

Looks awesome and a great idea. If I may make a suggestion, you may want to add some type of support for those edges around the tire where the cover reaches the tailgate. I can see that flopping around during off road use.

I already have a bolt on each corner to hold it down (same type of bolt set up that holds on the front corners as well) so there will be no way that it will actually open up. I will still have to wait and see how much movement there will be as I definitely compromised some of the covers strength by cutting a portion of it off.

Had to disconnect the plugs and plug into new housing so now how do you turn off the airbag sensor light in the dash?

So, if you yard-dart your truck, you have to change the seatbelts or did something else break? Just curious.....

Dealer, most hand-held scanners won't reset airbag lights. @13raptorcrew may have some other secrets to try.
