how about a total headlight swap. like RECON's projector headlights. legal, look cool and a brighter-more directed beam of light.

Thanks again Birdman. I am not sure I like the projector headlights yet. I need to see someone that has them and see how the perform before I put out the $$$ first. I did find some H13 lamps this weekend up in Dallas, Pa. They are the PIAA Xtream White lights. As soon as get home I will put them in and see how they are. I have heard some good things about these lights so I guess I will see for myself. Thanks again.

it's the same deal. if they claim to be pushing higher wattage with the same system voltage and no ballast...then there's got to be more amperage passing through your healight harness.

stock is probably something like 55w/14.4v=3.8 amps
these 110w/14.4v=7.6 amps

x2 = 15.2 amps on the circuit

:hmm:

The wattage on the Piaa lights are 55/60. and I have already installed a heavy duty wiring harness that has 14g wires with a heat resistant plug.
