RPG lower link

Again, it’s not binding that people are running into. It’s worn out uniballs. They have nowhere near the lift span of the OE bushings. If you get the loud popping and creaking sounds just replace them and it will go away. I’m not surprised it’s the panhard bar that does it first since it reacts the entire side load from cornering. It takes a fair bit of driving, unless you do mountains in the winter, to wear them out, but it only takes a little wear for them to become noisy. Driving on worn out ones won’t cause any damage unless you really let them go. It just gets annoying to listen to.

Haven’t seen this mentioned here, but have you seen that RPG has a lower link mount relocation kit to address the binding issue? Sounds like the problem stems from the lower link (and maybe exacerbated by replacing all the links?). I’m guessing the tighter tolerances of the joints compared to the factory bushing might be exposing the misalignment from the factory?

Haven’t seen this mentioned here, but have you seen that RPG has a lower link mount relocation kit to address the binding issue? Sounds like the problem stems from the lower link (and maybe exacerbated by replacing all the links?). I saw their latest post today regarding this which was rather interesting because the “fix” was re-welding mounting points to the rear axle.

At that point , say bye to any shred of warranty you had from the transmission back.

Probably a fix, but not a good look.

I’ve had zero issues now after about 500 miles and some offroading. But if they arise these will be for sale and I’ll go the camburg route.

But it says when all five links are installed. So is it isolated to just the full kit?
