I took the skid plate off and taped off the bottom part of the bumper in order to plastidip them a darker color. I used DipYourCar’s Anthracite Grey Hydrodip.

It wasn’t super tough… although the skid plate was heavier than expected when I got the last bolt out. I used about 3 cans between the two places.

One of my favorite visual changes that I’ve done yet.

Is it me or does it appear that your triple-fog kit is a little lower than normal? Or your bumper is higher than normal? It's been so long since I've done mine I can't recall exactly how they mount, but don't it mount to the bumper itself? Picture of mine for height comparison... Also, that darker color up front looks amazing!

I thought they looked lower than they should be too - it’s more than likely an installer error. Now that I see yours I know what I’ll be trying to fix this weekend!

Headlight tint and window tint!
35% on windshield and 15% everywhere else. Have always been hesitant to go 35 but have also always wished I would’ve just done it. So here we go! I absolutely love it!

Dropped off to color match and get some gloss black on here as well. View attachment 420718
Where are you getting the work done? I'm in Ventura County as well. Curious to see who you are using just in case.

I've used so many different spots and by far, light years the best is American Wrap Company in Newbury Park. My last 4 cars i've gone to them and never had a problem. He's not the cheapest, but he's not the most expensive either. He is by far the best and uses the best equipment. Once I get all the color matching done, he's going to do the PPF on the front end of the truck. But I can't recommend this guy enough if you're local.
