Has the R been officially announced by Ford yet? I didn’t think it was. So how can a dealer take your money and come up with ADM’s before it’s official? Sure they can take your money, but that would be on a
Fictitious vehicle as of right now. 25k ADM will be a bargain if and when an R comes out.

Maybe you should run down there with that money :snoopfacepalm:

If anyone's interested. I'm going to be releasing a 1500 hp EV with a 1000 mile range and 30 second charge time in 2028. Send me a PM if you want to give a deposit and get on the waiting list. No ADM.

I'm sure there'll be plenty of guys who get the Raptor R and decide a month later it doesn't fit their lifestyle, and they'll be for sale around $200K or so? Like a lot of the 21/22 Raptors being listed used for $5,000-$25,000 over MSRP, because "free markets" and whatnot.

But to OP's question, do you really want to make a deposit on a truck with no allocations because it's not even been officially released by Ford yet? 100% chance the stealership pulls the rug out from you when somebody offers them $50K over MSRP

I have little doubt there will be an R. What remains to be seen is how attainable it will be. I think the dealers that have committed to MSRP always will continue to do so, and some will get lucky. Everyone else will be paying heavy ADM till 2025.
I hope that there will be a few lucky folks. But I expect darned few without a personal connection to a dealership, and zero would not surprise me one bit. The more Ford builds, the more likely that someone will get lucky. Then they will have to resist the opportunity to make a quick $30-50k.... :shakehead:

you can hold out on paying ADM. and you'll never get a raptor R. wrap your head around that. there will be plenty of people who are willing to pay 150k for it. Just saying. I am guilty for some vehicles. but not this one. happy with the power train thats in it. id rather buy a performance convertible as I said many times. I supposedly (was told) had a $500 deposit to keep my name as #1 on a list for a raptor R. but got my money back after I was told by the salesman I actually will be #2 the owner most likely will take it. I came to reality it wasn't likely that id get it at an agreeable price. we all best expect to wait for the 2nd or 3rd year to have a chance. WHEN AND IF IT HAPPENS. I hope I am wrong but with the situation the way it is I doubt I am too far off.
