If anyone was going to get the console safe from Ford, this is the company that makes them and ford rebrands them. They are 20% off right now. These are super easy to install yourself. The 2021 F-150 with fit the raptor according to the company. I emailed them to ask. 8A3C6ADE-D94D-41FE-BE5A-AFE9E12C27A0.jpeg

Cool! On another note, I wonder if adding a Ford's rebranded console vault to an order will slow down build dates for others.

I say this because I put down a deposit on a scheduled dealer order yesterday and had them change the color and options to my liking. Dealer just got back to me today and said the only accessory Ford wouldn't add to my request was the console vault. Otherwise, everything was good to go and still schedule for an early August build.

My dealer is placing a separate parts order and having service department install upon delivery. I might look into this 20% discount you mentioned as an alternative.

If you are using the console safe to lock up a firearm when you have to leave it in the vehicle, there are much better aftermarket alternatives. They are more secure and only take up about half the console space, plenty of room for a pistol and extra mags while leaving part of the console useable. See pics

I put an E&G console vault in. VERY nice unit that I got from @Nick@Apollo-Optics.

Here's a thread with quite a few people that have installed it and liked it.

That looks like the exact same unit, but at a better price!

FWIW, I bought a Console Vault and am pleasantly surprised by the quality and installation. Took all of 20 minutes and it's rattle free and quite secure. Someone could cut through it with an angle grinder for sure (not sure about competitors) but I really wanted to simply keep kids out. Personally I don't keep a firearm in there overnight and live in a virtually crime free, rural area (probably because everyone owns guns?).

That half option above looks nice, as well.
