well when reparations start what in the world will we all do then, hand over the keys and say see ya.

Mine is strictly a work truck, a nice work truck but that is all it is to me.

Just happens to be a Raptor but I bought it used as well.

Saved every penny I could coming off deployment. No kids, no debt, no drinking, and substantial disposable income +investments. At 26 I think I'm on the lower side of Raptor ownership but life is too short to settle for a Tacoma.

Hey I resemble that statement! I actually just bought a raptor and am picking it up tomorrow in Texas and driving it back to California with the girlfriend. So maybe I’m not technically an owner yet but my monies gone lol.

I’m just a lowly teacher in my ear 30s with no kids and no debt but, I had a Tacoma I purchased new and paid off within 2 years, then sold for 33k, basically paying for half of the raptor. Say what you will about Tacoma’s, but they hold their value as well. Couldn’t get past how sluggish and small it was though.
The payments on the raptor will be about the same as my Tacoma meaning I should be able to pay that off in about 2-3 years as well with a less than 2% interest rate. Probably not the wisest financial decision on my part but I was obsessing over the raptor enough to know if I didn’t get one I would just continue to obsess and ruin any relationship I had because it would be all I talked about.
