I just wanted to share some of the great and not so good things about my 2019 SCAB.
I pulled my 26’ Freedom Express for the first time with the SCAB. I drove a little over 1600 miles (Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York). The truck performed extremely good. Using the Tow mode was fantastic. The transmission was perfect. The engine breaking on down shifting was the best I have ever had in any vehicle I have ever had.
My trailer weighs 5450# dry and tongue weight is 580#. Loaded it weighed 5985# according to the truck scales.
I used 93 octane and it seemed to love it as it pulled the trailer like it wasn’t even there.
When I ran between 62 and 65 I got my best gas mileage 11.5mpg. At 70 to 75 it got 10.0 mpg.
I was really happy having the suspension we have as most of the roads absolutely sucked.
I’m planning my next trip and can’t wait to drive it pulling my trailer again. My wife was cracking up watching me driving and all the enjoyment I was having. She has been with me for 42 years and she told me she has never seen me enjoy driving and pulling a our trailer this much!
There is only one complaint about the truck and that is the little 26 gallon tank. You have to always be planning out your fuel stops. I got low a couple times as there were long distances between gas stations. I put 24.5 gallons in one time and I was on pins and needles hoping for a gas station.

Clanagael did you do anything to the truck to get it not to sag when pulling the camper, my camper weighs in at 7000 and sags the back of my truck pretty bad.

I had a Gen 1 SCAB with the little tank, but now I have a Gen 2 SCREW with the 36 gal tank and I love the extra mileage! The extra room behind the front seats is really nice when traveling with the SCREW as well...
