Pictures from installing my air system and different train horns. These should help if anyone is unsure where to mount these items.

3 gallon air tank mounted above the spare tire. I just mounted a second just in front of this tank. 2 bolts through the bed support. Second picture is with the tire removed.

Compressors mounted in the bed to keep them clean and dry. With the bed cover, they are not too loud.

Currently using the Nathan airchime K3. When I mounted these, I mounted the small horn that sits in front of the oil filter closer to the front of the truck to make it easier to get to the filter. It required some extra supports, but it is worth it.

I have a normal hornblaster's kit on mine and love it. How spectacularly loud are the Airchime's?

Almost too loud. The tank fills to 120 PSI. One night, I used the horn over 1/2 mile from my house, and it could be heard inside my house.

I used it for the first time at someone yesterday... The light turns green for me and cars continue to turn left on red. I take off slowly and get half way into the intersection and the 3rd car goes through on red right in front of me. I blasted the horn and the passenger ducks and covers her head. All the other drivers at the intersection look around in shock wondering :wtf: just happened.

I might add a regulator and turn the pressure down to 90 or 100PSI so it is not quite so loud but still have the nice sound.

I'm curious to, I have the 240 kit. I mounted my horns in same location, but to the skid plate and sideways. I can drop the whole thing pretty easily and was able to mount them inside the house too, lol
