Why no 4x4 on dry pavement?

Using offroad is 2wd will let you oversteer more so if you like having the rear end swing around based on how much go pedal you give it, 2wd is lots of fun.

You may find that, depending on the terrain and obstacles, 4wd will help you keep the front end going where you want it (potentially less understeer) and pull the truck through while usually keeping the rear end following the front (compared to 2wd).

We used 4 low for hill climbing. Had 4 speed trucks back then,would have to shift fast. But the torque was awesome. Some hills were on power lines at about 45 degree angles or more. A real treat cresting a hill and only seeing sky.

dunno what kind of wheelin you do. but up here theres nowhere to go 60mph offroad.
Here it's more like... atv trail, 4lo, rear lock, going up boulders! Which is PAINFULLY slow if you ever rock crawled...
well hell now i have a dented driveshaft ahahha
