There is a strange reason in Germany to drive a SCAB, which is tax. As long as the length of the cabin is equal to or shorter than the length of the bed, your truck here is considered as a (business) truck und you pay much less tax for the vehicle. If the cabin is longer than the bed, the truck is considered to be used for private reasons, resulting in much higher tax. If there is any doubt, the tax authority can force you to present your truck to their offices and they will measure the length of cabin and bed. If they have the feeling that you are using the truck just for fun or private reasons, you have to pay more ...

And SCABs look much better.

Hahaha I wish. I bought it back in Feb, or March or something. It's a tradeoff - I love my bike, but I want my truck to be insane. So what do I do - keep the bike and do the truck in small increments… or sell the bike and throw 20 grand at my truck at once. Haha

Cruiser, I'm getting my '13 SCAB fully loaded delivered to Germany as you know. Do you think I would make any money if I sold it in a year when I move back to the states? I would just order a new one to have in the states and someone told me I could make a lot of money selling it here. I've looked on websites and they look like they're selling for 50,000-65,000 Euros which is a shit ton of US Dollars. Sorry to hijack.
