At Snoball I noticed my truck has a high pitch whine at speed when in 4WD. No clunk, I had 3500 miles on it before Snoball, about 6300 now. Everything works properly, just don't know what the whine might be.

It sounds like a vacuum leak, but like I said, everything works properly. I noticed one other truck at Snoball sounded the same (not sure who it was, I think it was when Charlie leap-frogged us).

Should I just wait to see if the truck shows some issue, or hunt down the source?

What speed did you notice the whine?
Not sure about a vacuum leak? However, vacuum is what keeps the IWE disengaged. So if your in 4x4, that part of the vacuum system would not be used. Did you look at the vacuum valve on the firewall near the brake reservoir?
