I agree with Noah 110% if you didn't ask for it, I'd freak on them for drilling holes in my truck, make them replace the panel, also reimburse you any money thay may have charged you for something you did not ask for.

i have removed these things before. sometimes its an alarm, sometimes its a tracking unit.

WHY the hell would they screw it to a panel,just as easy to place it next to ,or same postion as the obd-2 plug, OH wait, not there truck, ********.
