Will you attach a hose to the futoma valve when draining oil next time?

Yep, I have one ready to go. I was thinking of leaving it attached and hanging an inch or so below the skid plate but then decided it's easy enough to attach next time I do a change.

I also lubed up all the bolts with some used oil to help keep them from sticking as oxidation occurs. We'll see.

I also got the fluid extractor (which you can see in the pic). I seemed to only be able to extract about 4.5 or so quarts. It made dumping the rest easier and with less risk of spillage, although now with the valve I'm not worried for my next change. For what is charged for an oil change these days I will get my ROI on the second oil change, so one more tool for the garage

Are the valves only for the metal pans?

Ronin makes what looks like a pretty cool valve that is only for the plastic plugs/pans.
