I carefully used a rat-tail file to make the holes just big enough to pass the mounting bolts through. Although the mesh is pretty rigid, it's aluminum, so it wasn't too difficult to do.

Kinda makes me wonder if I should of gotten the mesh option on my bumper now.

Yeah, I'm starting to find all kinds of cool things these Flex lights are capable of. Maybe you can get the mesh and install it yourself? I'm not sure what bumper you got, but it couldn't be that tough to rivet some aluminum in......

Bath time and installed a deezee tailgate assist without the rattle loose nutzert.

How do you know its not gonna rattle loose? Different model or did they update them?

Washer, lock washer and a nut, red locktite on the threads, good and tight. Didn't use the nutzert

Little more work on the bumper, tomorrow is time to clean up a few welds, prime the inside of the mount boxes and weld on the front plates.











Then off to line-x later in the week.

Finish my bed rack and installed it. Even did a quick write-up. Also, got my new rear bumper from UPS, and made some improvements to it. Got my new skid plate, and installed it too. Sorry to dark for pics of that.
