Once upon a time, in a land far far away... I made a post about tire steps. Here, in the land that knows no sorrow... it now lives again.

How to get up to hood level if you aren't BigJ??? I am glad you asked, for it is actually a great question. I have seen people put a huge dent in their hood trying to wax a tall 4x4.

I was thinking of getting one of these:

50 Bucks at Target: http://www.target.com/gp/detail.html/185-7155539-1897826?asin=B0002Z9KE0&AFID=Froogle_df&LNM=|B0002Z9KE0&CPNG=&ref=tgt_adv_XSG10001

Or Amazon for 35 Bucks: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0007PJRYS/?tag=fordraptorforum-20

Another good one with a carrying case that fits up to a 37 inch tire for 50 Bucks: http://tinyurl.com/327q3d2

Or a Great Nextag page is here with a bunch of them:

You can Google with the term tire step" and you will find them.

HEY... I got the man step... so why not this? <GG>

Hum...I'm so used to just stepping on the tire while climbing in the bed.

It's a good product that solves a problem. Those of us with bed covers can't really "step on the tire" so this would do the trick.

I use these when I wash my Raptor:

Nah, I used to climb up on my bed cover all the time via the bumper. Now if you need side access to something in the bed, chances are you probably don't have a bed cover.
