So this weekend my friend Aaron came to KC from St. Louis to see my Raptor. He had a great idea to take it mudding and do a little shooting at a friends property in Chillicothe Mo. We get there and do a little shooting, Then comes off-road time. Had a little off and on rain so we got some good mud to tear up. Goes awesome, get nice and dirty, on our way back to the farm we see a huge mud hole and Aaron suggests we should go threw it. Being a bit cautious and the fact my raptor is only 2 weeks old we check the depth with a few sticks. Only seems about foot and a half to 2 feet deep. why the hell not. So we kick it in gear and go for it, the driver side sinks down about 4 feet and we get stuck. We call our buddy Dusty (guy who owns the farm and property) and he's at a family reunion dinner and cant leave till his kids are done eating. So we hang out on this field about 3-4miles away from the farm or anybody, and worst part we left all the booze and guns at the farm so we completely bored and to top that off water starts filling up on the driver side. finally about 2 hours later Dusty brings his truck down and some chains, begins to pull and the Raptor wont budge even a inch, he tries to get a running start and pulls HARD still not a inch moved. So he calls a bunch a friends to help. About another hour later a convoy of f150s and silverados come to the rescue, about now a storm just happens to catch us and its pouring rain. they hook 3 trucks up to the rear hooks and pull, no luck, all around the mud hole of course is sand so they just digging holes, finally after a third try they get us loose, wish I had a video of this literally train of trucks pulling to pull us out but it was raining so hard we could vid it. muddy water starts pouring out of the cab and we finally on our way.(only problems we can see is the engine light is on but I think that is cause the hill desent BS started ******** up and popped up on my screen. Oil was clean, transmission was great, and solely thank to my pre-liner the intake was alright.) Had to run to the atm and get cash and booze to thank all the people that took time out of their saturday night to help us out. Then we all head to Dusty's farm to drink, play with guns and talk about trucks. Before the getting stuck and after totally made up for it and we had a great time. Finally got back to KC about 11pm and spent hours trying to de-mud and clean the carpet.

If you had water above your wheel hubs, you'll probably want to change fluids in your front and rear diffs as a precaution. Perhaps even your transmission and transfer case fluid if you think water might have been sucked into the breathers or otherwise entered the system.

Glad you had a fun little adventure. Lol.

ya we thought about all that also, the tranny is workin like a champ and temp is same as always and shifting on the same notes, oil showed 0 contaminants. but ya we not sure about the diffs and transfer, my only worry is the engine light and im almost sure its from the hilldesent control being disabled and my remote start wont work. Buddy says it probably just a o2 sensor on the fritz from being under water. But tomorrow Ima prob take to a O'reillys and check the codes, dont want to take to ford until i get all the mud outta it lol
