I told the SYNC lady to "go to hell" yesterday and she wouldn't respond again to any of my voice commands. I had to Ctrl+Alt+Del her by restarting my truck (rebooting my Raptor?) and then she started listening to her Master's voice again.

All about voice commands:

http://www.syncmyride.com/own/modules/faqmanagement/FaqList.aspx?tagId=12

Note: these voice commands are based on the in-dash Nav unit equipped Raptors. Check the web page link (below) to find the voice commands for the non-Nav systems.

After a tone sounds, indicating that the system is listening, the SYNC voice will ask, "Please say a command."
Please close windows and turn down music as the excess noise can interfere with communications. Passenger conversation also can interfere with accurate interpretation of voice commands.
Voice Note: SYNC is interpretive, which means the voice recognition software will make a best guess at what it thinks you said. If SYNC has more than one choice for your command, SYNC will ask you to say, "’One' for the first and 'Two' for the second," etc. Say the corresponding number of your choice, and SYNC will ask you to confirm it.

4 Phone Voice Commands

"Dial" SYNC will ask for the number. Say the phone number. SYNC will confirm the number. Say, "Dial" again to place the call.
"Call" allows calling by name. Say, "Call" and the name of the person you want to call.
Calling by contact name and location is dependent upon your mobile phone’s ability to download your phonebook to SYNC via Bluetooth.

5 If there is more than one number associated with the person's name, SYNC will ask if you'd like to call the person:
at home
at work
on mobile
on other

6 SYNC will ask you to confirm your selection. If you've asked SYNC to call Doug on mobile, SYNC will say, "Calling Doug on mobile, is that correct?"
Reply, "Yes." If SYNC is incorrect, say, "No," and then repeat your command.

7 Dial
Say, "Dial" and then single numbers, 0 - 9, or commonly referred to numbers such as: 800, 411, 911.

8 Symbols
"Asterisk" for the asterisk symbol (*)
"Pound" for the pound (#) sign
"Plus" for the plus (+) sign
"Star" for the star (*) symbol

9 Yes or No
SYNC will ask you to confirm your selection by saying, "Is that correct?" If it is, say, "Yes."
SYNC may ask you to confirm your selection by saying, "Is that correct?" If it is not, say, "No."

10 "Delete" deletes the last digit spoken.
"Clear" deletes all numbers entered.
"Cancel" stops dialing or searching for a number.

"SYNC" activates SYNC's media menu.
"Phone" accesses SYNC's phone menu.

12 Receiving a text message
If you receive a text message while your mobile phne is connected to SYNC, SYNC will notify you with a tone.
"Read message" instructs SYNC to read the text message aloud.

13 SYNC may ask you to confirm your selection. If you've asked SYNC to read the text message, SYNC will say, "Read text message, is that correct?"
Reply, "Yes." If SYNC is incorrect, say, "No," and then repeat your command.
Text messaging is dependent upon your mobile phone's capability to download them via Bluetooth.

14 More text message commands
"Cancel" stops a request.
"Help" asks SYNC for help at any time.

15 Media Player Voice Commands
“User Device” activates SYNC's media menu.
“USB” accesses the media player that is connected to the USB port.
"Autoplay On" enables SYNC to begin playing music from your player even before indexing is complete (which may take several minutes if you have many songs stored on your player).
"Autoplay Off" requires that indexing is complete before any music can be played.
If you are listening to the radio and not your media player, after pressing the VOICE button on the steering wheel, SYNC may reply, “Please say a command.” At this point, SYNC wants to know if you’d like to access the Phone Menu or your media player. If you want to access your media player, reply, “User Device.” SYNC will then reply with, “USB. Please say a command.” If you wish to make a phone call, after SYNC replies, “Please say a command.” Say, “Phone.” SYNC will then reply, “Phone. Please say a command.”

16 "Play" tells SYNC to begin playing at the beginning of the file or at the place where playing last stopped.
"Play all" instructs SYNC to play all the music on the media player.
If you have already selected an artist, album, genre, or similar music, Play All instructs SYNC to play all the music in the chosen section, such as all the tracks by the chosen artist, all the songs on a selected album, all music within a genre, or all the similar music on the media player.
