Agreed! It does sound different and not all that bad. I am not sure how much difference the headers make, definitely a different sound than chambered muffler.

For yours the headers won't make much of a difference in sound. They will mainly change the performance. Plus, anyone considering with headers should bare in mind that once you install them the truck will need tuning to run properly.

the truck will run great with headers alone. no codes or anything went off on mine running e-30 maybe that is why ethanol is so amazing. anyhow headers and aFe went on first for a few month than the tuner. The tuner will definitely dial everything in a lot better and I would highly recommend it. necessary no but definitely makes everything work together better.

I was thinking wow what power when the headers were installed I didn't even know the tuner was not on. put the tuner on and wow it will now chirp in 3rd.
