No extended warranty. Rear main seal is what I was thinking too.

Fluid looks red in the picture.. Could be a few different things. The torque converter shaft seal, trans pump seal, or fluid is leaking past the pump bolts. Most of the time it's the converter shaft seal, which those can start to leak really bad. Mine started forming a drip around 20000 miles just like your picture. We figured it was the pump or shaft seal so ordered all the seals/gaskets a new pump, and a new torque converter. Pulled it apart and it ended up being a pump bolt that would've been fixed with some thread sealant lol. Ended up replacing everything anyways.

Could be a rear main but it would be the first 6.2 rear main seal I've seen go out. That I can remember.

Great! Sounds like he'll get it covered - best hurry... only a few weeks left before the run. I'm just over 60 now, so glad I got the warranty extended out to 100K

Looks like there is a TSB to replace the front pump seal on the transmission.

I'm going to wait til after Raptoberfest to take it in.
