There are several people out there running some kind of baja designs light from Squadron s1 - squadron pros.
I had wide corner squadron sports up front for a while, then when I picked up SAE lights I moved the W/C back to the rear of the truck, wired them in with up fitter 6 // reverse with a relay. Easy Peasey.

Definitely solves the lighting issue in reverse.

edit to add - the bumper has bolt holes right by the tow hooks for a really easy mount.

The reverse lights suck on my 2018. They put out less light than the brake lights. Looking for upgrade ideas. Thanks.

I'd recommend grabbing the Baja Designs S2 Reverse Kit here: http://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-ford-raptor-2017-s2-reverse-light-kit/

We've got hem in stock, so they ship the same day you order them (if ordered before 1pm EST).

These are a direct bolt on installation, so not difficult at all. They provide an awesome amount of light back there. What's nice is they come on automatically when you go into reverse. OR you can grab our optional upfitter harness and wire them into your upfitters.

No doubt that the factory reverse lights leave a lot to be desired. While we love Baja Designs, the S2 kit is great but for the same amount of money you can get twice the brightness with the S1 kit.

Here's the S1 reverse kit installed and in action:

I did the BD S2 kit from Nick at Apollo with the amber covers and really like the light through my back up camera. For some reason the yellow light shows really well in the camera without washing out the image at night.
I didn’t get the covers for that - wanted them for chase lights but it worked out great. I leave the covers on full time now.

I did the S2 Pro's from @Nick@Apollo-Optics also. Very happy with them and they don't wash out my camera as long as the lens is clean. I like the rectangular shape better, I think it fits in with the lines of the truck a little better to look more OEM. They are BRIGHT AS HELL! Really nice if I have to grab my trailer in the dark. I hooked them up to one of my upfitters.

I have the cheap amazon lights at first too. I got about 15 months out of them. Front ones had water intrusion in one light, but still worked, rears both had water intrusion and one was toast. The upside: I learned that cheap amazon lights are temporary and, I wired for more expensive lights so when I installed what I should have the first time, the wiring was pretty much done.
