Same here I am on the list and have noticed the hard shifting. My dealer said its only available for the smaller engines and didnt know when they could fix mine! ugh!
Was it hard shifting down a gear or up a gear?

My rig is included, but it doesn't have any shifting problems.
I am inclined to leave well enough alone and not take it to the dealer.

My 2011 was not part of the original 2016 recall, but I did experience several downshifts into 1'st from 65+ mph. Thrilling, to say the least... Glad it never happened on wet pavement. Paid out of pocket $$ to Ford service, but they could never find a problem. Slim chance of getting any money back now from Ford with the new recall, but I'm going to try.

Problem solved itself, after the truck was ripped off, wrecked and shot. Totaled.

got my recall done today, took an hour of fighting with the village idiot.. i mean service adviser.. to get my truck in and fixed. yeah they kept reading the recall wrong saying the only updates they had were for the 3.5 and 5.0. luckily the tranny tech clarified the recall to her (pretty much told her hey engine size doesn't matter! its production date and if they have a 6R80) and got me in quick since they know i work out of town.

That’s ridiculous. You can even check your VIN yourself (link at the top of the thread). Not surprised though.

it sure is! I went on myFord to check for any sync 2 updates and the recall was listed, so I knew my truck was affected. somehow that didn't matter to her, because in their mind if they can get out of doing the work they will. I swear lazy dealerships are the entitled brats of the automotive word, want money but don't want to work for it.

I have a 2011 raptor originally purchased with 70k miles, in year 2017 Started transmission issues hard shifts pretty much immediately after purchasing it dealership said nothing was wrong blew my transmission about a year after recently the recall came out for bad pcm and speed sensor was having same issue with hard shifts on a new transmission. Coincidence I think not. I had them do the recall which only updated my pcm, never touched my speed sensor. Was still having issues they told me that i should contact ford that they won’t do anything about it. It’s not there truck pretty much not there problem so a week later brought it to an outside transmission shop to get a second opinion and my transmission blew once again. Transmission mechanics reviewed and confirmed that if you have a bad speed sensor and pcm that a transmission can have issues internally. I then got in touch with Ford after waiting and they told me to bring it in the dealership and have them look at it. So I had it towed there and all they told me was I had a blown transmission with I knew. They called me back and said they will not fix it that I have to spend another 5200 on a new transmission. I asked for a supervisor and they said he would contact from customer support. I then waited and never got a call. The lady handling my case then called me and said they still won’t fix it. I asked if a supervisor can call me and explain why still nothing be careful Ford knows something and would contact them if you have a recall or have had to replace transmission.
