Pro power.

Does anyone know how to disable pro power, what I mean is I want it be always be off, and when I want it I can turn it on. Right now every time I get into the truck I turn it off because the fan noise in the back is annoying?

you need to go to the dealership to get it reprogrammed. It will get rid of the fan noise but pro power is still on. There's a TSB for it

Why is it that every time I get in my truck it is always off? Have you tried from the settings menu on the SYNC4 touchscreen?

It’s an update not a option to turn off. Reprogram and you’re set. Dealer can look it up with a little effort

OP - is yours ON by default when starting the truck? I noticed 2 things

1) the switch on left side panel next to wheel by headlights does not indicate whether its on/off by displaying a light
2) seems most of the time mine is OFF by default when starting the car, but I am going to try to pay more attention to this

They probably never ran your VIN by symptom code. No need to disable it, they just need to reprogram the DCACA Module. Here’s the service message:
