Power Steering Fluid

Hi people: So either later today or tomorrow I will be replacing my Stock Power Steering Reservoir (PSR). Want to know what fluid is some of the people over here are running. I would like to know if I can use Mercon V, and what are pros and cons of using it instead of the Dextron 5 that ford recommends.

I will also be installing a PSR cooler (SDHQ), how many fluid will I be needing to top it off.

Some times I say e-30 rocks or ******* it's just so I get the info when it's given. Well e-30 dose rock.

I just use the ford factory stuff. I'm sure the appropriate royal purple or ams oil would be fine.
