Well okay, that's not terribly helpful. You might check the seat motor wiring and plug. If the plug is damaged or the wires frayed, it might produce the symptoms you describe.

I thought that there is an issue with the wiring under the seat that can happen. Double check the connections and look for any exposed / cut wires.
