I spray a bit of WD-40 on the front for about 30 seconds and put the washer on it. Usually takes care of them with a typical wash down of the truck afterwards. Bugs be buggin down here in Louisiana, I know your pain!! If that doesn't get it, I'll come back with a detailing towel and spray more WD-40 on the towel to get them cleared off individually.

My question to some is will the WD-40 hurt anything? I NEVER wash my truck in the sun EVER or when the trucks hot.

I use hot wAter from my wAter heater..works way better then cold water.

Oh fyi do not use the drain on the water heater to clean truck. Sediment in tank can scratch it. Simply install tee and hose Bibb on hot outlet.
