If you put the same thickness plate on the same thing will happen. The plate needs more support. If this were me, I would have a 1/4in plate made and have it installed and add support underneath like a piece of channel or another piece of tubing across at the back.
Man if you lived near me I could do this with ease for ya

Question then, I have the stealth fighter as well and a warn 9.5. Should I be worried about bending too? ADD are you guys looking into possibly a reinforcing solution to existing owners?

A stronger plate might stop it from bending, but then the next link would be the lower bumper tubes. with enough pressure, something has to be the weak spot.

Maybe a bolt in plate that would be easier to change out when you damage it.

I've winched a lot with my Stealth and I also have the Recon 10,500lb winch with no issues hopefully was just the type of pull you did.

Nothing's fool proof. That's part of offroading. Something's going to break. Find it, fix it and make it better.

Well, problem solved. Thanks for sending out the new plate ADD. But in the process, i ,managed to scratch up the top plate on my bumper a bit.
You guys wouldn't happen to have any nice ADD stickers i could slap over that would you?? You know, For advertising purposes. Everyone always wants to know, "What does the A D D stand for?"
Getting tired of telling them that i have an attention problem...lol.
