5.4L here, but I'm running American Racing Headers, racing cats, and Corsa Xtreme exhaust. It is LOUD when you want it to be. Drones a little at highway speeds (ok, a lot), but it sounds unlike any other street vehicle I've ever heard. When you get on it, you'll feel like you're running a top fuel dragster. Idles like a cat-less diesel truck (sounds like pushing air).

It's not for everyone, but I love it.
