Mud flap opinions

I see I am getting a few nicks from my BFGs and am contemplating mud flaps but I hate the way mud flaps look on the truck. This may be a function over looks purchase but I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on low profile mud flaps or something that doesnt stand out like a sore thumb.

I'd rather just have mud on the side of my truck but that's just me.

Yeah mudflaps are so super lame! Just put them on a wrx. Not for a raptor. I hate them. Can you tell?

Any thoughts on clear Vinyl wrap on the lower door panels. I really am not feeling mud flaps unless I have to.

I went with a clear wrap all over my truck. It has saved me from all kinds of trail striping. We also went with the vector mud flaps. They are tasteful and very functional. Here is the link to one of many threads on here.

The winter without front flaps had ice and snow build up on the running board that would limit the door from opening far enough to get in. That never happened again in the next 3 years with flaps. For me function comes first.

I love having mud flaps. The truck still gets dirty but the rocks don't hammer the side. In the winter my door handles dont fill up with dirty slush
