Moab - Dead Horse Point

I've always wanted to get out to Dead Horse Point in Moab, but Moab is like a 4X4 Gun Show at the Coliseum, so much to see in one lifetime.
I finally made it there a few years ago with plans on shooting the Sunrise. The morning was Cold as Hell as I waited on the Sunrise. It was worth the wait! The Sunrise was, well, nothing short of Spectacular!! It was however extremely difficult to capture with my skills behind the lens. The light and shadows deep in the Canyon proving to difficult to try and replicate what I was witnessing with my eyes. Anyway, this is the best of what I was able to capture.
If you are ever in Moab it is worth the 0400 wake-up to witness it for yourself...

Dead Horse Point puts the Grand Canyon to shame in the afternoon Sun, in my opinion. Amazing. Never seen it at Sun rise, too lazy.
