Don’t wanna sound dumb but was is the purpose of the catch can? New to the raptor world and this sight is very informative!!

it goes between the valve cover and the intake. the reason the hose is there is to releave crank case pressure. you also have oil vapor above the head/valve train and that vapor gets pulled through that vacuum line back into the intake, therefore getting burned. not as good as clean air and fuel vapor obviously. so, the catch can separates out that oil vapor so it doesn't go back into the combustion side of the engine. this holds true for any vehicle with that type of setup
