The sound of the TRX comes with a cost (aka crappy fuel economy). Below is a pic of the fuel economy from the TRX and the Raptor on a trip from our home in Missoula to San Juan Island and back. It was the same time of year (October of 2020 in the Raptor and October of 2021 in the TRX) but on the way home in the TRX we had “gale force wind warnings“ from Anacortes until damn near Ellensburg, and we fought some of the worst head winds I’ve ever driven in. You definitely have to pay to play, especially at the gas pump.
