I Reused the original o ring.

I did have some top out issues with the CAS ...but my g2 shocks have the internal spacer reduced to a 3/8" one from the oem 1".

I think these are the 1st Gen SVC Fox 3.0 CAS spacers. I assumed they would sit higher up and clearance wouldn't be an issue.

This is from their website. I know that a G1 is heavier by a couple hundred lbs, so using their guidelines for lifting a lighter G2 front end should be similar. The current version (pictured) uses a different design, where it has 2 blue threaded rings and the spring collar is smooth, making adjustments easier. Mine has threads on both the blue ring as well as the spring collar, which makes adjustments more complicated.

@2012SCSVT your new bucket is the Camburg version, yes? I ended up with the KHC version. It's stout enough, looks like I'll test cycle it first, then mig weld a fat bead on a few spots to reinforce the bolt-on hardware they provided as well as the frame connections. No doubt that combination will be stronger than the oem version.

Yeah ypurs are definitely different than mine, I have the version where the spring seat is not threaded.

The part that hits is the base flange, I'm going to machine it down at an angle when I change my springs out here in a few weeks.

Since mine has been apart for so long, I've got time to cycle it w/o the coil spring and check for clearance. I could see a big hit against that threaded collar might break loose the coil spring and end your day.

Another option to avoid the clearance issue is to just get the ICONScreenshot_20240313-090331_Samsung Internet.jpgScreenshot_20240313-085505_Chrome.jpg spacer dealio instead^^^. Much smaller diameter, so you keep the Big Boy CV axle, but no risk of destroying the spring perch on a G-out landing.

Hey guys didn't see much info on this but I cycled out some of the trakkmotive high angle CV axles and they work fine for my application on stock width 13.625" travel. I wish I put more time on them before giving them a review, they have about 1000miles. And only 70 offroad. So far.

Like I said I wish I had more miles but started that other projects.

With that said. I would recommend so far.

Looking at your pictures, the coils will probably contact the upper control arm. It looks like the OD is a bit larger than the springs I'm using. You'll just need to check. Also I will be changing my upper to a 1.5" outter, the 1"uniball will not cycle through all the droop. I have a few mods on my UCA for now (delta joint and offset rod end) but need the 1.5" outter uniballs.

See in this picture even with a stock shock with ebachs, the control arm Hits the spring AND the uniball binds.
