GEN 1 Help reinstalling bumperttes

I installed a light bar in the lower grill. Popped the bumpettes cover off and now for the life of me I can't get them back off. I need help, anyone know how to reinstall them?

I think they simply pop back in place with a solid whack with the palm.

they arent designed to go back on. if you look at the tabs on the back, you will see that you need to get access behind the bumper to put them back on. you can try putting them on without pulling the bumper apart, but i have seen people struggle a lot trying to do this as well as damaging them.

I had the same issue. Popped them back on by pulling up tabs with a small pick while pushing in. See link for tool i used.
