I have a '10 and my fan is stuck on high speed. every thing else works on the climate control, temp, what vent to direct air etc. but the fan will not change speeds. Where is this module located so I can see which item to buy, apparently there are 2 different ones avail for our trucks.

Thanks,

Jim T.

Not sure what you mean by flow thru floor consoles, I have the vents on the back side of the console. I have a '10 SCAB with all the bells and whistles. lol

I think it is located behind the glove box on the right. If you open and empty the glove box and then push in on both sides where the back stops are the glove box will drop all the way down and you will see it on the right.

From the 2014 service manual:

Item Part Number Description
1 — Blower motor speed control electrical connector (part of 18B518)
2 W701696 Blower motor speed control screw (2 required)
3 19E624 Blower motor speed control

Removal and Installation

Disconnect the blower motor speed control electrical connector.
Remove the 2 blower motor speed control screws.
Remove the blower motor speed control.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
